Ainis Kasperavicius

Lithuanian violist Ainis Kasperavičius studied in J. Naujalis music gymnasium ( teacher I. Klusaitė ). After continued his studies in Germany (Folkwang Universität der Künste und HfM Saar, Saarbrücken), in professors J. Kaliūnaitė’s, A. Reiner’s, E.Brunner’s and T. Mokatsian’s viola’s and chamber music’s classes. Ainis is many national as well as international competition’s winner. He trained and expanded his knowledge and music performance skills with renowned musicians such as : E. Feltz, H. Bayerle, B. Canino, T.Riebl, H.Rohde, Artemis Quartett, Quatuor Ysaye, Vogler Quartett and many others.
In 2005 He and his collegues founded Et Arsis Piano Quartet, with which he recorded two CD’s and made numerous recordings of contemporary and classical music in various Germany’s Radio studios.
Together with the Et Arsis, he organized and conducted the Chamber Music Festival, European music traditions and young talents ” in Bulgaria for five years.
Ainis Kasperavičius has performed with Et Arsis and various renowned orchestras (Orchester der KlangVerwaltung, München; Münchener Kammerorchester, European Union Chamber Orchestra, etc.) in many European countries, as well as in Argentina, Brazil, USA, Canada, China, Mexico, Peru, South Korea, Russia. He has performed in the famous halls: Carnegie Hall, Wiener Musikverein, Berliner Philharmonie, P. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, Teatro Colon and others.
Since 2012 Ainis teaches at the Hochschule für Musik Saar in Germany.
