The Teide Quartet was formed at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatoire in Turin, where its members have studied the string quartet repertoire under the guidance of Manuel Zigante and Claudia Ravetto.
The ensemble is composed of participants in the Xenia Chamber Music Course, selected from among the Conservatoire’s chamber music students through the first scholarship competition organised by Associazione Ensemble Xenia in partnership with the Turin Conservatoire.
The quartet performs in Turin for the first time as part of the Encounters with Chamber Music series at Evergreen Fest.
